Typhoon Pablo (aka Bopha) Aftermath

Almost 250k people left homeless and 477 confirmed dead (as of today, December 7) that Typhoon Pablo (Bopha - International Name) left the Philippines Southern islands. The Government of the Philippines is now appealing for International help.  

Typhoon Pablo hit Mindanao Island last Tuesday, with a devastating wind force, flattening everything on its path, from trees to houses - bridges to infrastructures. Winds as strong as hurricane brought heavy rains that leave most areas flooded that created landslides which took the lives of many.

Sandy's Aftermath (30 Photos)

The massive storm that started out as Hurricane Sandy (aka Frankenstorm) slammed into the East Coast and morphed into a huge and problematic system, killing at least 74 (and still rising) people in the United States. Power outages now stand at more than 5.6 million homes and businesses, down from a peak of 8.5 million.
