Man Builds a Mclaren F1 Replica

A Top Gear fanatic has completed the ultimate motor challenge - building a £5million supercar with scrap and spare parts. Amateur mechanic Jacek Mazur, 48, made his own replica McLaren F1 for just £20,000 - 250 times cheaper than the real thing. He even paid tribute to his favourite TV show by building a tiny rear seat for Top Gear co-host Richard Hammond. His previous projects have included building his own Lamborghini and a Porsche - but the British-designed McLaren F1 has been his 'ultimate' success. They can fetch unbelievable sums and in August this year one sold for a staggering £5.1million at classic car auction Gooding & Company.

World's Greatest Drag Race 2

It's back! The World's Greatest Drag Race returns with nine of the world's best supercars, sports cars, and muscle cars for 2012 facing off in an epic quarter-mile sprint for glory. And ultimate bragging rights! This year's field includes all nine contenders from Motor Trend's 2012 Best Driver's Car competition. Lamborghini Veneno

It is the fastest road car Lamborghini has ever built and it cost $4.5 Million. Meet the Veneno (means venom or poison in spanish). To celebrate Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary, only 3 of this will be built, one each in red, green and white to symbolize the colors of the Italian flag. All 3 have been sold. This Italian stallion combines jet fighter looks with a 552kW V12 capable of rocketing it from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds.

Shelby SSC Ultimate Aero II

U.S. brand Shelby Supercars will launch it´s new supercar, it will be the world´s fastest production car built (The Bugatti Veryon Supersport currently holds the record). The SSC Ultimate Aero II, is a supercar to rival the 1200 hp of the Veyron SuperSport, According to sources close to the brand, the model will have a 6.8 liters twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a power close to 1400 hp. With a body made of carbon fiber, the supercar weighs only 2,600 pounds, allowing it to reach 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reach 275 mph top speed. Source: Blessthisstuff
